What is an Aerosol Fire Extinguishing System?

The aerosol fire suppression system is an advanced fire protection technology using sodium or potassium aerosols as extinguishing agents. These aerosols, in solid form, interrupt the chain of free radical (hydrogen, oxygen, hydroxide) combustion chemical reactions, quickly extinguishing the fire. This effective and rapid method provides increased protection in various environments without adversely affecting equipment or the environment.

How do these systems work?

Aerosol generators release fine particles that interrupt the chemical reaction of the fire, extinguishing the fire without damaging equipment or the environment.
